In January 2022 I launched a cassette/digital imprintlet called Bivalve (Bandcamp). Each release is a curated split between discrete artists or projects; sides of music coupled and separable.
The release rate is 1β3 per year. Each cassette inhabits a special folding card-stock box rather than a plastic case. The advantages this offers are financial (reduced shipping costs), environmental (somewhat reduced plastic bulk) and aesthetic.
